I haven't experienced the rc speeds you have, but I hope to enjoy it very soon too.

Would have been nice to have seen your car run with just the rear trimmed on your previous video before you changed the shocks, oil and the front splitter. Car looked so close bro and with the gear changes you did......

.....but yeah, I hear you.

I'm glassing up two Warriors tomorrow!!

Question, "What is the device that you guys are using to measure your speeds?" I see it is made by Garmin but need help on what model it is and what else I will need as far as parts/accessories. Thanks.

Garmin Forerunner 201 and a way to mount it on the car. I bought my Gps used on ebay for $50 shipped. I went used because it could get ruined at any moment. Mine has a tendency to shut off during a crash for some reason I haven't figured out yet.

No problem, there are a few other options in this size range. Just do a basic search for garmin.

You guys see Johns how to glass a speed run body video? If not watch this. I like the shoe goo first layer as my first glassed body cracked in 1/2 across the hood. The goo probably adds a little flex layer to prevent this from happening.

Yeah, he's got a great idea there. The shoo-goo acts like a rubber gasket or shock absorbing layer between the hard shell. I think that stuff sticks to almost anything. The lexan, shoo-goo and glass sandwich is the way to go.

My fiberglass roller didn't arrive today, bummed.
Wanted to get busy with it!

Hi guys, have to chime in on this one.I'm really surprised that your still using Fiberglass in this day and age.I stopped working with that horrible stuff 10 years ago.Let me make a suggestion,go to a quality Marine store and purchase your self either West Epoxy System or Cold Cure. These are two high end epoxies that are used for glassing or laminating. The Cold Cure is 2to1 mix ratio and the West is 1to1.I won't list the cons for fiberglass because anyone that uses it knows. There are no cons for epoxy except its price & 12hr dry time.
Stronger than fiberglass by a mile, use with any type of cloth (flexible, not brittle),long working time, no smell, easy clean up, list go's on.Trust me, you wont go back to fiberglass ever.Cheers Chris

Yes its designed to do what fiberglass does only much better.I would avoid using anything with the word glass in it.There are many synthetic cloths you can use.The Marine store will have a selection of different weight cloth or use a lighter weight cloth from a hobby store.Chris.
