Yes but OFNA is bringing it in now.

What size batteries can we use with this?

Monteman 12-05-2012 09:43 PM

What makes this worth $500 compared to $210 for the GTP2e and $260 for the DM1 Spec-E

I loved it till i saw the price tag...

ozace 12-05-2012 09:52 PM

I was considering it until I saw the price. Its Serpent money not ofna dollars

i wish they'd stop messing with the wheel base on these things...it's sitting at 360mm which means the bodies will be limited...

Steve...buy one...shorten the chassis and do the thing that u do...and sell it...i'd buy one with a shorter wheel base...

FLoJo 12-12-2012 09:52 PM

your better off buying the kyosho GT2VE for $500 somthing comes rtr and get a real lookign body , ofna imo killed it with the cheap looking body , doesnt justify the price whatsoever

Monteman 12-13-2012 11:18 AM

at 360mm wheelbase a Kyosho Corvette C6r will drop right on :)
Im using one on my E-revo GT and it has some killer details on it.

So even looking at the pics on the OFNA website there are still TeamC parts on the Ofna Version. Are they just re-branding the TeamC car?

Still trying to wrap my head around the price, still not seeing how this can cost $300 more than a GTP2e

Dan 12-24-2012 10:48 AM

Ofna is just a distributor. They have released cars in the past that still have Hobao name on the plastics.

As for the body, who cares, its replaceable. I'd still take this car over a Kyosho GT2. (And I have a nitro Kyosho GT2 myself!)

g-one 12-31-2012 10:32 AM

Dan out of curiosity why over the gt2?

spooky 1 12-31-2012 12:23 PM

Don't buy that Team C car. I have one and I don't want the rest of you to get it.

Team Lotus 12-31-2012 05:44 PM

Very nice car.....but way overpriced!! I'll stick with the Ofna GTP2E at $200 thank you!
