I'm pretty sure not. The front end, shock, center pivot, tubes, and axle are the only similarities I can think of, and the AE conversion just includes the CF IIRC.

The links are the same too. It can be done. I raced against two such cars two weeks ago. The cars were good, but in the end the stock Xti was victorious.

The altered ego is for making an Xti more like an XL. You are ahead already!

Looks a bit like mine, an altered ego with the short rear pod. Your chassis is nice and wide, could almost run two ESC's.

I am considering the A7020 & 5040.
Any feedback on these 2 servos?
Spektrum 5040 works just fine in an Xti

Picked up a used XTi, what spares are most needed for this chassis?

Tires! This thing is tough so you won't break anything, you'll just wear out the tires.

I only had a problem with the left side wheel hub but I think I overtorqued it on install.

Under what circumstance would that break? Rear impact? I got a solid shunt on my last time out that chewed my spur but the pod plates look fine.
