YOKOMO Touring Car BD-7

Hi Porsche928gs, can you point me in the direction of that Hagberg set up (that uses the insert spacers) please, as I have the Samix blocks, but not had a chance to bolt them on and play with inserts / measure widths of pin etc.
Is a good place to start as per the xray T4 15 manual?
AL1983, the blocks are well made, Samix make some nice stuff. As above, I've not got them on the car yet, but they feel solid and nicely made in hand. HTH

Scroll down for the asphalt setups, put the inserts like the T4 setups, to achieve the desired toe degree.

i use the samix blocks too... i measured.
ff 1 point inside = 43.5
fr 1 point inside = 43.5
rf 1 point out = 42.0
rr 0 = 45.0
i use
ff 0.5 point inside = 44.2
fr 1 point inside = 43.5
rf 1 point out = 42.0
rr 0 = 45.0 ~ 2°<
the 0.5 reality not 0.5mm, ~0.35mm it is. the 1 too, 0.75mm in reality.

But, do you use which leverage, could you explain, please?
I suggest use lowest in ff, fr, rr and middle for rf, in low-medium asphalt.

Migigu, you're a star!
With your current insert set up, did you happen to measure the height of the pin versus standard?
I wonder if your current set up gives you the 1mm lower pin, or if you need to use the insert in the low position?
AL1983 - thanks for that, for some reason I had a 'moment' and was checking the Yokomo set ups for Hagberg??!!

Samix facebook page posted a pic with some info about the inserts and standard.

and shim FR 0.5mm
The Samix Blocks high is the same Yokomo Blocks... 5mm, you can e.g. 1 point down use, then is roll center 0.75 lower (T4 has the same high… 5mm)
Comparisons not setup by Xray T4, specific orientation Yokomo blocks settings. The T4 has completely different geometric! for example it is wider than the BD7 in front.
what you are driving at the moment for yokomo blocks? would starden from there and not take my setup.
BD7 Kit Settings FF43.5 FR43.5 RF42.0 RR46.4 (Samix 46.5)

I don't know if this has already been discussed but what is the pros/cons of the floating steering and servo mount on the 2014/2016 CF chassis?

I just bought the bd7 2016 and am going to use a 6.5t motor I have a 112t 64p spur gear what would be the best pinion size to use without overheating the motor. The track is not to long and has a lot of turns. Thanks

Not quite. have so stated, but really use

The set up I currently use has some sweep, I believe that I use a 2.0 in the FR. Looking at your kit set up, you already look to use the narrowest setting on the FR, so how would I achieve this?
Thanks,
Chris
