YOKOMO Touring Car BD-7
#6481
The '15 diff gasket also fits the new diff, even if there is new part number for the '16 diff gasket. I'm using the '15 diff gasket in a '16 diff with no problems.

Dear for any Yokomo expert:
As i drove from last carpet races with my bd715 then i verified of this car is too much sensitive.
As i didn't drive previous bd7s.
Only through this forum, i concluded the best carpet should be 2014 and asphalt is 2013, isn't it?
Could anyone confirm then comment and explain to me, please?

if the car is to sensitive, try the follow basic things.
softer front springs, at least equal to rear or little bit softer in front.
This make the car softer in corner entry but more steer in mid to exit corner, so less aggressive entry.
remove washers on the steeringrack ballstuds to give less entry steering, less aggresive corner entry.
use at least 2000 to 3000 in diff.
and on some tracks reduce steering on transmitter 90-85% of max steering.
You should have a hole differnt car ;-)

Tech Regular
Plus, in its stock form, the car uses the original BD7 RS bell crank arm and bridge... So I think it's safe to assume they are pretty much the same as the BD7 14-15 parts. Maybe a little modification on how it is machined, or like Evochick said, different bearings.
-- EDIT--
Went through what's included in my conversion kit and there are no bell crank parts included. So I have to assume that the original BD7 14-15 parts are meant to be used with it and are thus fully compatible with the 16 spec car.

so if you want to mount the bridge you must buy the new one B7-201B6, also the plastic one included in the kit (from BD7 RS) can't mount!

For the guys who've ran their 2016's, what's your spring choice for asphalt? I've read that even the stock silver ones are sometimes too stiff for carpet.
Any feedback?

The 2015 version is 18 cm high, 2016 version is 16 cm high, please see the attachments
The plastic bridge in 2016 kit is 18 cm high like the 2015 alluminium version, so it can't mount...it's not a good thing
