had a fun run w/ the motor today. Kept gearing up the motor every run and every run it just kept getting better.

We'll have to see how it runns on an EVO4 in a couple of weeks for our first race of the TCS.:sneaky:

Got a different power band than the C2 . Not bad though.

Korey Harbke 03-05-2005 11:03 PM

Yeah, thats what I found. I think it's a solid motor though.

jzone 03-06-2005 04:04 PM

as the com diameter gets smaller, is anyone adjusting their brush surface, like squaring the face, etc..................

MYXTYPLYX 03-06-2005 04:50 PM

I too will be getting some of these motors to run the Western Canadian TCS.

Sounds like the bearings are what makes this affordable so it will one of the 1st to go for me.
I will Putnamize it too with heavier springs.

From what I saw of the motor from jzone running, the motor was weaker in exceleration compared to the Putnam C2. Top end seemed about the same for the track but jzone was geared crazy high.

How hot does this motor tend to run with the standard enbell?

Has anyone played with timed brush?

I would like to see more pull out of the corner.

I was actually thinking about just cutting the comm down. If anything I think it will help a bit.
