i have Masami special
now i make setup for carpet race with foam tyres

f you use the high volume shock bodies,( which i think most of us are using) you can use short shock ends, also make sure your shock lengths are at least 63mm, you can optian the 63mm with the stock shocks and short shock ends by unthreading the sock end.( but you will only have a few threads of the shaft in the shock end ... very risky......

I have been experimenting with soft spring setups and found a good combination with the yellow progressive springs in the front and green rayspeed in the rear...

My usual spring setu up is Pink progressive front with Blue progressive rear..

All setups are using masami rear shock tower.

Which steering knuckles and rearhubs you got?

It is very important to have non-trailing 0mm knuckles and 0degree rear hubs

We usw plastic steering knuckles anyway as alloy is very heavy and is as huge increase in umsprung mass not very healthy for the handling
+ plastic is ok or broken. Alloy bends

0deg rear hubs are ok but please notice that these hubs are 0,5mm lower (2mm under ballstud with plastic = 2,5 with alloy)
If u use sd-010rw shafts, glue the inner bearing into the Hub to reduce angle-slop

And use sd-415s steering knuckles

Hello!
I'm thinking of buying Yokomo MR4TC BD Masami Edition, is this car still worth it's price? How does it compare to TC5 or t2 007/008? Do parts break often? Weak points?

the car is really durable, so far all i have broken/bent were C-hubs and CVD's. I have a full rayspeed spring set for you if you get one. Where do you plan on getting one?

Weakist part of the BDM is the Alum Universials, the front ones bend or wear out really quick, ( highly recomend replacing Them with the TIR CVD's or the Steel Universals Yokomo Sells
