"I will have mine today but I am returning them as I found out that the rubber seals have drag and we all know that is no good for bearings in our hobby. "

I have had several sets of Acer Ceramic bearings and they don't have rubber seals. They call it HSR, whatever that is. I pop them off quite frequently to clean mine and they are some sort of a plastic. When they are installed the outside part locks in the bearing and the inner part doesn't touch anything. They have always been great bearings for me.

Sometimes they DO touch the bearings, why, because you can bend the shields. It seems like they have a thin metal ring inside them or something. At any rate when you mass produce something and don't have the time to check every single one, there's bound to be hiccups in the product. Let's face facts... -JB

OH MY GOSH, the car is killer. I'm SOOO jealous; I'd do anything for a BD...anything
Rayspeed Blue. you get them with the kit, the rears are Rayspeed yellow

The Rayspeed springs are to be used with Rayspeed spring retainers.

Yokomo springs work with Rayspeed retainers.

I will post the spring rates later, it only gives you <Soft - Hard> no actual rates.

(posted by pheyhoe) at sleightys house.. lol

The older shields were made out of that material, the new ones are rubber seals.

There's no need to sand and seal them since the car uses the battery trays

How did you guys attach the cell holders to the chassis? Mine fall out evertime I move the car without a pack in it. Thought about a drop of CA but didnt want to ruin them. I guess that is the ONLY complaint I have about the hole car....and its not a ver big problem!! LOL

I put a small drop of shoe-goo on each corner so they don't fall out. With shoe-goo it will come off easy if I want it to.

i agree with the shoe-goo - easily taken off i just put a small drop inbetween the cell cradle of the two pieces - four drops

Since the BD was designed in Japan, and most of the tracks (at least that I have seen pictures of) are wide open and flowing, I realized that the car may actually be too stable for some of the tracks we have here (especially SoCal, with it's tight layouts and constant hairpins) so I made a mount for the rear inner camber links, to mount them outward taking a bit of stability out of the rear end, basically I have the car set up now to where it will rotate very well, but wont necissarely break loose.

I'll post a pic of the one I ran yesterday, but tonight I am going to cut off the stock aluminum ballstud mounts and make a carbon piece that I can make 3 mounting locations on, rather than 2.

I didnt stay to race, just worked on my car and tested all day.
