Thx for the replies all, been a help, so the Masami edition is definately under consideration from now on.

The question about how strong the car is is mostly because I'm not very sure about part availability. I've only broken 2 suspension arms on the RDX while driving it for a year, and I aint a stock racer ;-)

Do both cars come with a complete set of springs and the different plates to set toe on the rear??

Yep, havent tried the sell/trade forum yet, will do when I get the yoko though.

Is there anything I need to buy spare just in case.... not suspension-wise I mean

sorry but i think that neither of the cars , includes in the kit complete springs set or different toe plates !!! The rear blocks are optional , the same as the springs except 2 different pairs of rayspeed springs!!!

I have tested them and found them more fragile, the rear belt was torn after 3 runs ...

bomber belts look nice on your car But I don't see any advantage of using it. I run it for about 3 race weeks. I run 19T class most of the time and noticed some and tooth on the belts is chewed out for some reason. So I switched back to regular YOKOMO belts.

I have run the Bomer belts for about 4 months now in 27t and 7x1 and have no problems with the belts at all.

I would look for Yokomo to come out with a new car by the end of the year. I think it would be based on their off road buggy, It is mid motor and that design looks like it would be killer. I would hope it's not a saddle pack chassis like the BX is.

I doubt a whole new car will come out after the worlds, but a new version of the BD with worlds upgrades? Definantly.

can i ask. do you guys use the belt tensioner on the top plate?

i know my 415never used one. and my white blets never lasted long there.

reason i ask is my BD doesnt include the belt tensioner.

Did your car come as a new kit or second hand? Kits come with a Belt tensioner. I run mine, tightened down as low as it will go, but the belts themselves are fairly loose. The tensioner is really only there to stop the belt bouncing when the car is going fast.

it was a 2nd hand kit. he told me he never used it.

also anyone know what the spare countersunk hole in the middle of the chassis next to the servo is for?

My best guess is that the various spare countesunk holes are alternate places for mounting the antenna tube holder. i've never seen a need to change from the topdeck though.
