Why, and what does this accomplish, a stiffer upper deck?

Default upper deck mod

I'm definetely going to try that little top deck trick..by making the top deck stiffer it should help the car turn/transition better?

Always amazing how the slightest change in these cars make such a big impact on the track.

I've been noticing that my lap times are way more consistent ever since I've been running the Yok BD. The car keeps the same feel all throughout a run...even after hitting a few boards...no tweak issues what so ever. And if you guys really want to feel what the car can do on a carpet track put a GTB with a SS4300 motor and gear it aroun 7.3 to 6.8....the car just flies...it react very well to the torque....it's the bomb.

it is basically a DIY version of the xray adgustable top deck . Many have seen improvements with this on carpet, as the car is very flexible as it is designed for asphalt, it just stiffens up the whole car.

Have a look at the Yokomo USA site, there is some setups there for this car. You'll find the kit BD setup to be very good with rubber tires though, go back to this point and take it from there.

Hi Guys,

Sorry about the belts being out of stock. We have another small batch coming in soon from Team Bomber, however, they are hard to get at the moment. Sorry about that
