Yokomo is the most underrated car in RC and possibly the fastest TC on the market in the right hands.

All that tells ya is that you don't always have to be a lemming. Go with what suits your particular driving style and you will always have the best car for you

while my team didn't win the enduro, i had the hot hand for the raffle drawing afterwards, each team member got a raffle ticket, we found one on the floor, and another was given to us by a person that left, i held all seven tickets, all seven were winners, then jaybee joking, said, hey ritchie hold my ticket, yep, ticket called for the grand prize, RTR X-RAY M-18. and jaybee wouldn't even share.

I just finished my second 2 day race meeting with the BD and I've got what may be a fairly expensive problem.

The outboard lug on the chassis that the servo is bolted to has been worn through over half it's thickness due to chassis roll allowing that side of the car to scrape the track surface. The mounting screw head is ground down to the point where it actually passes through the hole drilled in the chassis(have replaced 2 now). Anyone else having this happen, racing on asphalt?

If only the area under the servo hadn't been machined out so extensively, I could just tape it down, YR4 styles

Other than that, car was a bit "overly responsive" but was definately fast enough, certainly more aggressive than any other Yokomo I've owned previously.

You can cut the servo mount off and glue the servo down, then you don't have the bit sticking out. Someone posted how to do it with pictures a few pages back.

I run on asphalt though and have no problems with it.

Hi,

finally finished my drawings on the new chassis.
It will be 14mm narrower with the batteries moved a bit more to the centerline (1mm, more isn't possible).

And because I have the drawing for the 6-cell chassis I made some possible designs for the 4-cell class in Japan. They aren't finished but you can see how much narrower you cuould buil a chassis with the servo turned by 90 degree.

Cheers
Chris

Arrow castor

in my limited research, i have not found what standard castor options this car has. can someone list them, and associate a p/n with each (deg, std or graphite material)?

much appreciated.

Hi,

caveman is right. The stock ones are 4 degree.
But there are some other c-hubs from one of the older Yokomos which fit aswell:
ZS-4133 3 degree
ZS-4134 4 degree
ZS-4135 5 degree
ZS-4137 7 degree

Cheers
Chris
