You can find them at RC MARKET... They are under the Cyclone D4... You should be able to get them anyplace that sells the D4 and parts for it.

I have just bought my sons two cyclone S's and I want them to run stock
27T motors. The kit uses 64P gears. What pinion size should I start with. They will be running on a fairly tight carpet track. Thank You.

I gear my motors according to temperature. I aim for at least 140F and a max of 170F. Others may do it differently!

It depends on what stock motor it is. Also carpet you usually gear lower as the high traction puts more load on the motor.

If i recall correctly monster stock was about 24 mm and co27 about 26mm
on ashphalt. So start with 2mm lower than that.
But you are better off walking around the pits and asking people what gearing they are using.

Would you reccomend running a spool on low-medium bite carpet? Or are spools only for high bite tracks?
What about the one-way over the spool? I run stock 13.5 sedan

Yep, a one-way for anything slower than a mod motor, imho.
Spool vs. One-way: the debate lives on......
The best thing to do is try both of them for yourself. Run what feels more comfortable to YOU on the track.
Everyone has their own driving style. Some may be faster with a one-way, others may be faster with a spool.

To me a lot of people run spool or ball diff on carpet. However, it will really depend on your driving ability.
The 13.5s are not slow and as such a one-way is very difficult for a lot of people to handle consistently. If you can handle it, it should theoretically be faster.
On asphalt once you hit 19T most racers i know run the spool. I dont know about carpet but the one-way will get very difficult to control as you will have way too much steering on a high traction surface.
