My stock S2 Flux shocks are about done for. Are the GPM shocks a worthy upgrade? I use my S2 primarily for drifting and some occasional bashing. Any other suggestions I should consider that would be good for drifting?
I'll probably use the same rate springs front and rear, but heavier shock oil up front and lighter oil in the rears, if that makes a difference.

Tactic now has some pretty reliable and affordable servo's as well. The spline is the same as Futaba.

I have no idea if this is something Asiatees do on purpose, or if gpm and roadtech are linked, but I do know the Roadtech ones have been good so far with only a single ballcup replacement fter a lot of use, which are cheap for four so worth adding to your basket if your buying a set of the shocks.

I was thinking of trying Novak's drift spec combo on my stock D2. Anyone try one out. it $130 for the motor and ESC.

are the stock Sprint 2 dampers 50mm or 55mm?
I thought it was in the manual, but can't seem to find it.

The only thing I would recommend is changing the springs as the ones that they supply in the shocks are very soft, definitely don't use the stock HPI ones either as they are way too hard. Grab a set of these http://www.asiatees.com/display?HPI-...id=40560&pid=1 and make sure you set them up properly

No probs.
Can anyone recall the FDR calculator mentioned in this thread? I know the one linked had a incorrect internal ratio which should be 2.13 (like the rs4) but I can't seem to find it. I thought it was on http://www.gearchart.com/index.cfm but couldn't find any HPI listed anymore.
Am I losing it or has it changed?

There are some really good motors and esc's on HobbyKing that would allow you to get some other stuff as well for that sort of budget
