gijoe64, at my local carpet track I've found that the (VBC) 2 hole piston up front with 40wt oil and 3 hole piston in the rear with 37.5wt oil works well. I've been using a mix of xray and VBC springs VBC orange up front and xray 2.6 or 2.4 in the rear.

Capacitor ? (Glitch Buster) i have a Savox Digital SC-1251 MG servo,
which (G.B.) one is appropriate to use?
Spektrum, Novack or something else?
Thankyou
and what types of other servos are being used without a G.B.

You want a great touring car servo that uses little power and won't need a stutter stopper then get a Futaba 551 brushless servo. I never needed any glitch busters of any sort when I use Futaba digital servos and brushless servos. Been running all Futaba servos since 2001 and never had to run any after market caps.

My new Wildfire will be using the Futaba 551 brushless.

Thankyou dear wyd.
when i first purchased two Savox servos, my LHS and my self, Castle and Savox (about a year ago) on the phone not to long but awhile and they all
came up with the the BEC route.
now in a 811Be was not to bad but in a 2011 Avante was pushing the space limits so now either buy a cap or
another brand of sevo like you mentioned. Savox now notes about this.
i do not see a reason to purchase a Savox again. I really like their stickers
that came with their servos. so rolling along....
Wildfire will get a different servo.
Thax again

I race for Castle and work part time at a hobbyshop. These two together I have tons of feedback on different things and servos and how they work with different speedos is one. Our shop sells both Savox and Futaba as our main lines plus a few other brands. Once thing I tell all customers and expecially if they have a Castle speedo is if you use a Savox Servo you will either need a stutter stopper or external BEC. If you use the Futaba servos you will not. We find that while the Savox servos work well they are very power hungary and cause alot of speedo issues with the Castle and even worse problems with the LRP speedos which tend to burn up the BEC in a run or two. Tekins are less of a problem but we still see issues. Futaba servos we never have problems with any brand ESC working correctly.

thax again for the reply.
why Savox cannot correct this or should it be corrected ?, i believe
they are a good servo, the ratings are great and it seems esc's are getting better and i really don't mind wiring up things but less is better for room and weight.
i have not been dissatisfied with the two i have.

When is CRC and Horizon Distributaion getting their parts shipment fot the Wildfire. I know Horizon showed 7/25 for parts and thats gone and now they don't show a date.

My car will be here THursday but I would like go get some parts. Anyone at CRC or Horizon know when the parts will be arriving. No good to have a car to sell and zero parts to go with it. I'm taking a chance on this car and hope parts will not become a problem.

Are you by chance running the spektrum rx and tekin esc combo?
A note for the future, Viper speedos (vtx 10 and vtx10r ) both great speedos have an adjustable BEC all the way up to 7v and that alows you to run any servo I have tested even the high voltage savox and others. The servo company's are putting out more and more power hungry servo's to keep up with user demand. I saw that even futaba are now offering high voltage servos.

Thanks Brian. Just talked with John from CRC as he emailed me and said you guys have everything in stock and ready to go. I just sent an email to setup our hobbyshop account and order for the shop.

Awesome customer service from both of you guys.

Thanks
Brian

Everything we have received so far is on there. There are more shipments coming soon, and when they are received, they will be added.
