TCS GT3 class
GT3 question:
has anyone been experimenting with gearing for the TCS GT3 class with the 04? I plan on running the 04R & was wondering what gearing racers have been trying with the silver cans...any help is appreciated.
(worried by the top speed that the local TL01's are able to acheive)

TA04R Tub Chassis
Does anyone run Trinity R minus connector plugs (Orion, Integy) with there side by side packs on a tub chassis? Does it fit or will I need convert to battery bars and solder my wires. I just like the convenience of connectors. Currently I have a saddle pack chassis on. I'll be using 2400 and 3000HV cells. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I think if you get the plugs high enough on the battery you may be able to use them. The trick is to make sure you have enough of the bar on the battery to properly fully charge the batteries. I think I'll try this out this week and see how it works.

Mike for the 04R there is a Tamiya Chassis seal which might be hard to find or Associated makes a similar product.
Cut it to length of the battery tray and also height slightly taller then line the battery tray with it.
I forgot this on a new 04R chassis I had installed and left a pack in overnight and 3 cells were really dead and 3 were not. oops
As for the "bananna" style plug just solder them up a touch which can be a pain to get through the chassis or put a bar on then solder the connector to it then lay it between the cells like this
\o/ and it will slip in the car just fine
The 04ss arms are different front and rear the fronts ar 3mm shorter and the rears are 7mm shorter to give a total of 10mm shorter wheelbase they also have a touch more webbing to them

or are you asking if you can buy a different kit with the short wheel base? The answer is One just came out the "Audi"
I don't have part numbers on hand, maybe later.

Thanks,
either situation will be fine. i'm just looking for a shorter wheelbase so i can try it on a TB III.

I haven't seen or heard of the Chassis seal before. Do you have a part number?
