That's true...however with a Exotech upper arm or other adjustable upper arm the lower adjustment won't be needed...so maybe we can JB Weld the inserts into place then countersink them...that would beef them up considerably. Or maybe someone could make an aluminum set that is countersunk already.

exotek need to make either the inserts Alum or that entire bulkhead piece Alum

Bought it from ebay. I believe it's from HK. Very nice to deal with. Cheers.
Here's another angle, this time with the rear diffuser. Again, sits well except that I provided some 1.5mm spacer to raise the rear wing a bit to avoid a contact to it.

hello from Barcelona!
Which is the recommended caster angle for asphalt, medium grip? 2, 4, negative degrees?
I installed the home-made link system on my FGX...
thanks!

^Good day! I will, sir. I am really excited to finish this and race (new to this class) but my day job keeps me real busy. At the moment, all I have is weekends, to tend to all of my rc needs. :P
Here's another shot:
-Body shell, dremeled; side mirrors, pontoons, winglets and side fins were also mounted.
I believe this is ready for painting. Just waiting for my decals from F1 Paintlab to come. The wait is killing me. Cheers!

And oh, before I rest.
Regarding the installed rear diffuser, I actually tried 2 types available in the market now, the TRG racing and the Zen racing. I find the latter better as it is more proportional to the chassis that's why I stick to it. The former needs a lot of modifications to fit as it is too wide and protrudes way beyond the rear-light catch.
I attached the images for reference, sir. HTH.

So, does F104 rear wing fits onto FGX?
I found 3racing's F104 wing has a diffuser attached to it.
http://www.tqrcracing.com/shop/produ....asp?p_id=1633
and the picture of this tamiya F104 H part is also showing a diffuser, not sure if it actually contains it though:

@josecarlo1129, are those diffusers mounted below the rear chassis?
