Hey Guys,

I'm about to get my FGX kit. Sorry to sound lazy but can anyone share a link in this thread or outside that shows a detailed build. I need to rush this build for our next club race in Manila coz my nephew totalled my F104 on a concrete wall. =(

For the wheels and the stripes on the body I used just regular ol plastic model paint. The wheel nuts are Tamiya gold annodized wheel nuts.

Will Tamiya Rubber tires fit the stock rims of the FGX? I don't want to jump the gun and buy a new set of RIDES or shimizus coz I have lots of unused F104 tires.

If you are on asphalt dont get the pits, its too hot for them. on carpet they are fine.HPI soft /med or med/med are working best right now outside.

+1 I just tried the hpi tires on carpet yesterday. I could probably get a soft soft combo to hook up but the shimizu tires are working fine. the medium hpi tires just don't work on carpet. I don't think they get hot enough.
