I think you're safe for the time being... I think we just have too many different combinations to worry about aready without having combo's with the 1711's right now!

Have you tried a different motor at all?

If it's the old 13.5 with the bonded rotor there is a chance that the magnet might have been weakend due to heating/overgearing... if this is the case it can lead to problems like what you are describing.

I always recommend people upgrading to the sintered rotors for pretty much every application!

Yea the cap is in good condtion and didnt blow up or any thing werid and yes I am running a external schottky diode to.
