what setting is your front ball diff on? asuming your using it? it might be to tight. you ever tried to drive a front wheel drive with bascially a locked front diff. it will never turn it. try and loosen it up, it helped mine turn in better, cheers.

I am using one-way. I also tried the differential but I get the same results - wide turns.
Thanks,

Just a thought...
bukil - How tight is your rear diff? I know when I tighten my rear diff up it does not like to turn in as well. I usually run mine about an 1/8th turn tighter than kit suggested.
Just something to think about.

yeah sorry it was address to you, try different settins on your front and rear diff. normaly, if rear is to tight it will just drift. but front will tend to understeer if it to tight cheers. give it ago, just adjust your ball diff.s

Man that sure is a positive post.
I had a decent day of practice with my FT Sunday. I did quite a bit of changes, and found over half a second per lap. Irritatingly enough i found alot of consistency in the car by adding rubber bands to the steering rack/assembly in three places to tighten it up. The car felt alot better and really responded to suspension changes after that. It no longer felt numb. The rubber band trick isnt new by any means, its as old as R/C cars are, and has been used in off and onroad applications. I experimented with shock o-rings on the ballstuds, but they were too thick and restricted suspension action. The rubber bands did the trick. I got a few giggles and laughs at the track, but the lap times called were a far improvement from before, its getting better the more i work on it.

Rubber Band trick?
DaveW - What exactly is this rubber band trick? How did you implement it onto the car? Can you put some pictures on here of this trick? Sorry for the question, but I would like to know what it is and how its done. Thanks
