FWIW, taking the correct lines and carrying speed through the corners is, IMO, easily worth a second or more. If you're hitting the wall, you're losing time for sure. Not only since your way off line but also because of the fact that you're slowing the car way down from contact and also losing valuable time getting it back together to get back on line. As of now, my biggest problem isn't car setup, it's inconsistency. The leader (Serpent chassis) in my Main race on Sunday was doing 11.0's. His average time was - ready for this - 11.05! His consistency rating, good grief, was 97%!! Mine, by contrast was 79%. It matters.
Here is his lap chart!
Here's mine. Ugh. The spikes are mainly where I got mixed up in traffic, got off line, or got bashed by somebody. lol

See if this works. This is the setup I ran last race.

You guy's in Durham need to come over and try Kannapolis Raceway Park. Next event for us is April 14th. We always run VTA.
I've been watching and really want to, but I usually have to work the Saturdays you guys are racing. Sundays are always open for me. I'll make it there one day.

We chose Saturdays so it wouldn't affect the Durham group and would allow us to come up there once in a while. And we will. In fact I almost stopped there on Sunday since we were passing by from a race trip in Maryland. Didn't though since we were trying to get home to watch Martinsville. We didn't know it had been postponed. Oh well, maybe next time.

Just so I'm not buying the wrong parts. The right length shocks for the TC4 are 60mm, right?

After several long practices and one race day, no leaks or problems at all. I like what SteveM recommends, some green Slime and different o-rings. I'll be using the stock YR o-rings but adding some Slime with the next oil change. Let us know how yours work out. Oh, RcMart will require a signature for delivery, it sucks but if you know you can plan for it.

I did a bad thing, and didn't tell you the whole story.
I was looking at picking up 3-racing shocks for my TC4. I bought some 50mm ones with that intent, but they're a bit short. I ~love~ the shocks though, hard anno barrels, TiN coated shafts. Foam backed rubber bladders. They assembled fast, and without trying they all have the same rebound without having to rebuild any of them.
.... I'm sold on them. :-) and 50mm I think is the right size for my minis. And my M07 could use a set.
I use green slime on the seals. I bought a whole noleen SF3 jar...

I believe I own some yeahracing shocks. They didn't come with bladders... They weren't as nice as the TRF shocks I've built, but they weren't far off.

I have some YR shocks but replaced them with the TRF shocks, the YR shocks work well in my TT02
