Moving the ball stud on the steering arms will affect the Ackerman angle. The inside tire turns at a greater angle than the outside so the car can roll through the turns better. A straight up steering would cause the tires to turn at the same degree and scrub speed in the turns.

I'm looking to get some parts for my car and noticed the shocks look pretty "cheap" from factory. I was thinking of upgrading to something like http://www.rcmart.com/rc-damper-comb...?cPath=389_390 Are these okay or is my money better spent somewhere else.

Zero X1 arms are shorter.
You get a smaller trackwide at the rear and thus better rear grip.

I cant open your link from my phone but the threaded shocks that 3 racing makes for this car are awesome. If you want to go with standard shocks you need to order the +4 front and rear shock towers. The sakura shocks and towers are shorter than standard. Again the sakura upgrade shocks are great but some people prefer standard style.

Go for the 3racing shocks
It stays the same color and they are cheap and good
What Vette said, order the plus 4MM shocktowers with them.

Has anyone tried the new articulated swing shaft CVD's from Spec-R in their Sakura? I've seen them in a Tamiya 417x and they are incredibly smooth at extreme turn angles compared to stock.

I know two people who use them. Very smooth in the turns and they say worth the money. Be sure to get v2 though. v1 seems to break easier.

Report from tonights test and tune..

wonderful car for the value, car kept up fine with all the other cars (TC6.1 , and a couple of X-Rays T2 and T3) no major complaints besides the shocks and steering was way too much (That was my fault though) had lots of help from the local track experts and the car by the end of the night was amazing (for what it costs) new upgrades coming soon , Solid Front Diff , New Shocks , ESC Tuning a little bit , using an Element by Castle Creations right now and with the Pinion and stock spur setup temps were consistently at 117 after 4 minute heat runs.

So far loving it , a lot better than my Sprint 2 and TC4.

If anyone is reading this thread and still contemplating on getting one.. get it you wont be let down for the price I promise.

Would you know which part number? There are several versions out there and some include a 10x5x3 bearing to replace the 10x5x4 in the C-hub.

Hi guys,

I am a sakura zero S owner also. What would be a good setting for the rear camber, shocks that will make the car stable in tight turns? I still have a little slide on the rear. Please help or give suggestions for me to try.

Best thing I did was get the softer tamiya short springs, they fit the std 3racing shocks... the yellow works best for me, but they soften up the rear end massively.

Add a 1mm spacer under the rear, inner camber links. That helped me a lot.

Waiting for a new spur seem like forever. So i modified a TA02 spur.
