I'm still going to read up on the forums before making a final decision. I've never had an xray. My previous cars have been a Tamiya 414, EVO3 and AE TC3. My favorite has been the 414. AE just seemed a bit rough on the edges.

Thanks for the info.
LRP Puslar Touch is an awesome charger. It also will discharge at 20 amps and charge at 12! Completely adjustable as well for several different kinds of batteries and runs BL motors to check KV output!

Thanks, I'll check out both. What model for the Thunder Power?

That was mainly for the batteries.

Chargers seem to be less important now with Lipo's as all they have to do is put in the correct voltage and balance the cells.

But some chargers are faster than other - especially about balancing. My old Imax takes forever to balance, but with my new Orion TwinSpec I can charge and balance a battery in 18 minutes.

I guess as long as the amp charge is above 10 then it's good? I may just get the Thunder Power TP610. The LRP look cool, but is a bit $$$.

Ive noticed a little difference in numbers from charger to charger. The ones that charge up to 8.40V faster and then get into CC/CV mode faster tend to put more mah into the cell and offer better IR's, voltage and Runtime. Ones that charge really slow and then dont stay in CC/CV mode long seem to offer the opposite.

Just what Ive seen in testing.

The 3 I am looking at are:

- Hyperion EOS 0720i NET3-AD
- Thunder Power TP610

I want to spend 150ish but get somethign that will last awhile.

One thing of those Three is the LRP the cut off voltage or max charge voltage is adjustable. The others are not that I am aware of. You can change the max on the LRP and adjust it in between for different volt meters at different tracks.

i am not sure of the hyperion 720, but my 615 duo3 does allow adjustment of the peak. i think in +/- .005v increaments. it is labeled tvc and can be adjusted from 4.195v-4.280v for a lipo

Just because a new car comes out doesn't make a previous car obsolete. We have many T2's and even an FK'05 still kicking ass at our local track!

I was playing with my duo last night and I have an update to my post. basically the tvc works as long as you have the battery on the balancing port. if you are not balancing, then the charger cuts off at 4.2v/c. so the tvc settings have no effect. if you can find a Ce turbo/gfx. they are a little bulky, but seam to do the best at charging batteries to their full potential. and the new version of the firmware allows adjustment of the peak voltage.

Default 2010 T3

I have a 2010 Xray T3. The bottom deck has had a very hard time and has been scratched to the point the heads on the screws are worn....yes ive given it a hard time!

I am wondering if a T3 2011 deck WILL FIT my 2010 T3?
