went with the 416 setup yesterday on the 417x, changed droop to 5 front and rear, increaded rear toe to 2.5 and it handled like it was on rails, cant wait to give it another crack tuesday night.
Wheres a good place to get bearings? went with the tamiya kit ones and the front diff carrier bearings are shot allready (explained the slow down in qual 2 last week)

416 setups need a little adjusting to be right on the 417 due to the different shock towers and bulkhead heights, you might be able to go even faster

That happens when the bullheaded clamps are too tight on the eccentric bearing holders. You can lightly sand the holders until the clamps no longer rock, or use 0.1mm shims between the bulkheads and the clamps to take the pressure off the bearings.

Interested in getting a 417X.
Where is a good place to get them? Stormer had it for $500, but sold out

I heard about the dogbone blades being too soft and eating into the outdrive. People are switching them to another brand like AE?
