It's not the gears breaking its the shims. The gears are fine.

I'll take some photos tonight of my diff build, it seems to have fixed all the issues and takes very few mods.

rebuilt mine and is holding up (7.5T + Boost) so far... minimal to no leaks... used the 1x0.1 large shim (from the kit) and 1x.03 small shim. hoping the large shim will stop the shims collapsing into the o-ring... 3 weekends so far good.

just looking for alternatives for an upcoming big race and don't want to be 2nd guessing if my diff will hold up and screw my runs... but those build pix of yours are very welcome.

I'm now using 0.5mm shims in each side of the diff and it's the first thing that's held up to the 4.5 I run

Oh sweet! I cant wait to see how you do it. I will be running a 2.5 slightly boosted and need that geardiff sealed tight! Need to be focused on setup and driving rather than finding time to fiddle with the diffs.

Stitchy, Can you elaborate on the new DCJs? Not often I read thru the thread but these DCJs look 'cool'.
