The front and rear pulleys are the same size, its just the centre that has changed

Syn and co; have a lookey at the posts between Craig and me about the bulkhead spacing... No mention anywhere of a new spool, so the current diff etc should fit

Default So when is it due out

I see all the pics etc - when is the car due?

I am umming and ahhing til the end of the winter season before buying anything - My schumacher LP was awful

On Gear Diffs

I have to say something. When they were fitting to tamiya sand buggies everyone wanted a ball diff - funny how things come around eh?

A gear diff should be better in low grip conditions, particularly with MOD, and perhaps easier to maintain, but don't all discard the ball diff yet - Volker preferred his ball diff indoors, and many drivers locally tell me that they have gone back to their ball diffs.

Most of the guys i talk to have found the opposite to be true, ball diff if traction is low.
Gear diff is cool no more maintenance but its still hard to beat the ball diff, dont discard it just yet.

Where will everyone be purchasing their new TRF417's? Any good websites that are recommended for parts and kits with easy payment?

Thanks!

^yes, www.speedtechrc.com is the spot to get your tamiya parts. I have a trf416x and they have 80-90% of the parts in stock. they got the hotbodies tcx and newest xray almost immediately when they came out. no doubt they will have the 417.
