how to balance tc6
guys, have a question, how you balance tc6? I was trying to check it on balance tool and need to put some weights on the battery lipo pack about 40g... I know my servo at the moment is normal profile i should use low profile but that is difference about 10g not 40g! I have seen on ETS pics that Levanen's car has no any weights mayby 10g but never on the battery! So im really confused now.

This car should be super easy to balance...I have not had to add weight on the battery side, but I do have some extra weight under the belt in the middle of the car so that I can make weight. It is important to try and get the electronics as close to the middle of the car as you can, and using a low profile Servo will help as well.

Steering setup
Hello,
I've a question for Rick Howart or tc6's engineer at associated on manual's page 23 (Ackermann & Steering Rate).
The steering bellcrank schema has positions 7&8 and A&B&C
The steering link schema has positions 1&2 and A&B
The chart lists Steering bellcrank like 7B, 8A.... and Steering Link with positions like 2A, 1C, 2B...
Extract from the manual :
Steering Steering Steering
Link Bellcrank Speed
2A 7B Fast
2A 8B Fast
1C 7B Slow
1C 8B Slow
2B 7B Medium
...
Should I invert the number (And the chart header) for having the righs charts or the chart is completely false ?
That would be :
Steering Steering Steering
Bellcrank Link Speed
7A 2B Fast
8A 2B Fast
7C 1B Slow
8C 1B Slow
7B 2B Medium
.....
I Hope my question is clear. :-s
Thank you,
Sébastien

I posted a new TC6 setup sheet from Steve Weiss. This is from our local track WCRC which is pretty high grip and sticky. It is an unusual surface so the setup might not suit everyone but it should translate to other high grip tracks.

2-mid for the front shock locaton ... would that be 2 on the tower and a drilled hole between 1 and 2 hole on the arm ?
Thanks.
Thanks.
