Yes that body will work it is at a touring car. No you can use stock setup for the shocks. I love gt racing I try to convert as many nubies I try to turn them on to gt racing.

I got these tires, HPI 26mm Low Profile Super Radial Tire (Super Compound) I plan to just initially just whip her around the neighborhood streets and parking lots, are these good for that ? I didnt know if "drift" tires would mean zero traction or if they allow you to drive normal and do a nice power slide when you choose?

TThose tire will be perect but don't put too much front chamber on your car those tire seem to wear the onside shoulder with over 1' of chamber. Invest in a decent chamber gauge.

I don't know about toe and camber gauge but i would think it would work. A TC6 has hex screws.

Mostly 2mm hex heads.

YoDog 08-14-2013 03:19 PM

Yes... mostly 2mm hex but some of the 1.5mm hex screws are a bit loose so they fit a 1/16 hex better. Your guages should be ok in a pinch.

Agreed on the 1/16. It was the only way I could get the ones holding the spur gear loose.

Does the AE titanium screw set fit any better?

You definatley want to change those screws out to cap heads ASAP. They will strip out very soon. I keep a supply on hand for all my local guys running the TC6. I got them from Mc Mastaer Carr. The size is M2.5 x 8mm socket cap head screw. I ordered like 100 in SS for about 6 bucks.

It's a 4WD Mini. Looks like an Atomic VMII according to the sticker on the hood.
