It may be worth considering using Losi JRXS springs if TC6 owners are looking for low-profile springs like those made by RSD. I had some lying around and they work great.

PRS spurs fit and are really true and narrow. I've also used xray offset spurs too. For 17.5, 92 teeth 64 pitch will do nicely.

To determine gear ratio: spur divided by pinion multiplied by 2.0

i use the narrow rw racing ones, they are made in one tooth increments.

Servo mounts are still pending as I am trying to focus on getting the motor mount prototype finalized. Once I get that done I can spend some quality time in the machine shop to produce all the parts for servo mounts, saver cams and motor mounts.
By the way, the new motor mount will also incorporate an adjustable and removable fan mount!
I'm not gonna post a rendering yet as I don't want to let the cat out of the bag too soon.

PRS doesn't have the ones mentionend om page 29 of the manual.
The ones PRS has are blanc spaces in the TC6 manual on page 29.
I'm sorry, but I don't understand. Am I missing something here?
FYI the problem is not the calculation. I know how that works.
The problem is finding spurs and pinions that get me the FDR's I want and that are within the TC6 chart as on page 29 of the manual.

Hey does anyone have a good setup for camarillo? Ill be running a 4.5t motor. Its a medium grip outdoor track with a good amount of bumps.

I bought the Duratrax 19-1 Tool Set but the 2mm hex bit is already stripping my screws :flaming: so I was looking at the AE Hex Driver Set but it's missing a 2mm hex driver. :confused: I know there are other AE kits but why is this when the majority of the AE TC6.1 screws take a 2mm hex driver (I think more than any other size screw)? :confused::confused: The 5/64" is technically smaller than 2mm (1.98mm) so wouldn't this strip the screw heads?

I've read good reviews for HUDY hex drivers but I was thinking about getting this set made by BONDHUS which have the ball end. Anyone use these? They are guaranteed for life and made of Protanium which is apparently the strongest kind out there. They also have a ball tip which helps with screwing at an angle.

P.S. Anyone know if a screw remover tool (like a screw extractor bit) would remove a stripped screw on the top plate? I don't think a dremmel tool will work b/c the screw is counter sunk and could cut the top plate. :cry:

I would avoid the ball end wrenches as your main tool as they will tend to strip the heads even easier. They are good to have around in a pinch but stick with standard precision ground tips.

Yeah that's what i figured. Yeah I will for sure be there. I changed my schedule so i have sundays off. Now i'll finally be able to get in some onroad club racing.

Hey Nick, I personally have used nothing but Dynamite brand hex driver and had no issues with them at all. I used them on your TC6.1 as well as my new TC6.1. They are strong and in 3+ years of using them haven't broken 1 of them. The only screws I stripped were ones that for whatever reason I didn't get the driver seated fully in the head.
