Now that's seems ok so it has more even contact all the way around? Do you know for a fact the center Opening is big enough for the front bushing?
I am sure you can dremel out the opening if it is still too small. Better than grinding up the nice motor mount.

In my club's USGT-ish class with minimum weight 1450 g, the Silver Can's in my family's TC6's like to be at about 5.3:1.

So I got to break in my tek6 today and it is going to require some more tweaking but it is very easy to drive and to me that is a promising sign. Unfortunately I could not do a direct comparison as I ahd hoped as the layout was changed a few days ago so the carpet has not grooved up yet. Oh and I weighed the car and I was 1401g Im happy with that.

For those of us not running the vertical ballstuds, how do the V1, V2, V3 positions translate to the old camber link positions?

V1 with short ballsestud without any shim => N° 3 old
For me V3 is a litlle shorter than N° 7 Old
V2 is just beetween V1 and V3.

Sébastien.

Default New needing a ton of advice.

Just was given a TC6, well sort of...Anyway I have a 17.5 Motor. The recommendation from Dual sky is 4:1 for touring cars 4.3:1 for a long track. my spur is 80t 48p. Am I correct to start with a 20t Pinion? I'm a fan of asking for advice over blowing money! Thanks in advance!

No, that equals an 8.0 FDR. What I am running on mine is a 3.89 FDR for 17.5. There are others that go even lower and others that like it a little safer (higher) Your expereience may vary, but that is way off man. I have a 72/37 48P on mine. Track temp was over 145 degrees yesterday with air temp over 100 here. I have a fan on my ESC, but not my motor, and it came off the track at 164 degrees for comparisons sake.

So glad i asked!!!! I had wanted to run the 64p, but the parking lot we race in is not as smooth as I would like! It also came with the 80t and 87t 48p.
