I find some, but as mentioned above, the shaft is not hollow all the way, shame...

Bearings

There was a post a while back to a link for a place to get a bearing set for the TC6 and I think they were pretty inexpensive. Can someone help?

Beginner setup ?

Anyone have a beginner setup for outdoor asphalt, 21.5 and 17.5 blinky. Or should I start with the kit setup. I have RSD pistons and springs. Thanks

Okay, finally got my TC6 on the track. The out of the box setup was outstanding for a new driver. 17.5 blinky. It was very impressive just how dialed it was. After a few races, I can see making a few adjustment's, but for right now, getting some wheeltime, and cleaning up my lines is all I think I need. Impressive! We had three new drivers in TC6's all who had never driven one before. All left the track saying how nice they were right out of the box.

Go to the AE site. There will be a few to choose from there.

To me, this is a weak point on our cars, the 2.5mm screws are of poor quality and get loose too easily (destroying you spur gear in the process, happened twice on our two cars) then if you threadlock them, it becomes a pain to remove the two of them at the same time, as you cannot remove one then the other.

Still a very tiny amount of threadlock is my answer to this so far and the change of screws to straight screw driver heads. If you do not use threadlock, check them regularly.

There are socket head cap screws available in 2.5mm and I would suggest replacing the button head screws with these as they use a 2mm hex instead of the stock 1.5mm hex. Mine came loose and even lost one during the RROC. It created a ton of confusion until I found that it was missing the next day. My RCScrewz kit had the cap heads in it from another car and haven't had a problem since, no thread locker needed.

Regarding the ceramic bearings for the TC6, AE recently released a Kit for this car and will be available this month, around the same time as the gear diff and spool. I think it was something like $80 if you want to go that route.
