What universal swing shafts are they using for the TC6?

Hot Bodies DCJ driveshafts are 1 option that works very well.
Here is how to I did a while back.

#31286 Ball stud washer - To achieve most setups and can be used for arm spacing.
#4617 Bulkhead shims - To replace plastic clip spacers.
#31558 6 deg caster block - To achieve some setups.
#1401 Turnbuckles - To use camber link in the shock tower setups.
#31262 Silver anti roll bar set - To achieve some setups.
To race non boosted stock classes you will probably also need a smaller spur gear.

The parts that are supplied make the car good right out of the box. But the following are what I suggest once you get the car up and running:
#31286 Ball stud washer - To achieve most setups and can be used for arm spacing.
#4617 Bulkhead shims - To replace plastic clip spacers.
#31558 6 deg caster block - To achieve some setups.
#1401 Turnbuckles - To use camber link in the shock tower setups.
#31262 Silver anti roll bar set - To achieve some setups.

#31292 or 31293 also to achieve some setups, although i think they are a must have for at least Front Outer Ball.
But mainly the car is very competitive out of the box, won the 1st round of the Nationals with one.

I like the Kimbrogh gears that Associated uses, the Xray stuff is just over priced to me for what it is. Granted its nice, I just dont think its worth the premium they want to charge

I run a 100 tooth for 17.5 blinky, I normally run a 96 but I couldn't get a small enough gear to mesh to get my gearing right running the Revtech motor. Geared at 4.34

Plus the XRAY gears are seem reasonably priced around here.......

The Duo2s have a whole lot more bottom end than the revtechs do. I went from the Duo2 in my TC5 to this revtech and honestly one isn't any faster than the other, its just where the power is. The revtech is a lot more rev happy and has more on the top and the duo2 has a ton more bottom end but doesn't seem to rev out as hard. On a smaller track I would think the duo2 would actually be a better option

It's an outdoor track but it's not overly huge, I only have the standard spur ATM and was wondering what pinion to start off with

Thanks for the response, that's exactly what I did, replace the screws. Ordered some locks from Reflex also. The 417 I think is an amazing car, I drove it 2 times and it honestly handled really well with a popular setup for my track but I'm not at the point where I'm good enough to need such a high end car, plus parts are cheaper on the TC6 so if I make a beginner mistake it won't hurt as bad.

honestly I think taking out rubber seals, or any seals for that matter, for cleaning or blasting out the grease for the minutest friction reduction is overrated!
I use to be anal about a free rolling car, but really what difference would it make? How would you measure this performance increase?... 1 car length per lap?.... 0.2f cooler temps? haha get my drift??
I would replace my bearings from ebay, usually can get a whole car set delivered for around $12-13.
