Don't know how you can have bad alignment of thrust balls??

Anyway, it is know to strip easily if you over tighten the bolt in, so be gentle when you set your diff, Asso had a problem with a serie of nuts but this was a while back.

Solution: use some threadlock on bolt, make sure your diff is properly built too, I have seen diff not built properly on numerous occasions, use black grease to hold your thrustballs in place and compress with pliers the spring when it is new.

If it is gone, change for a new nut, they are cheap.

IMO the best solution is to buy #6575 Locking T-Nut, Diff thrust Bolt & Cover. #3904 is way too fragile, although if you follow olly986 advices you should not have problems.

It's comes with a Slipper Spool, wich is a bit different. Mainly you get the most out of a spool with a bit of slop mostly when crashing.

IMO c-hubs are a little weak, but i just broke 1 since day one and been racing for almost six months on the car. Another weak point is the screw in steering blocks and rear hub. But spares are also cheap, and once you hit the track you will be surprised about the performance.

Yes, as Jorge says, not much more to worry about, wishbones on very bad bangs maybe, and spur gears are not top quality but this is like all other cars, and on the TC6 you do not need to change belts regularly, they last for ever...

Default TC6 Spec-R gear diff.

I emailed Spec-R a week ago or so and they told me that they are releasing a TC6 gear diff. sometime in August. Apologies if this info. was previously posted...

Yes, that's the best solution. As I can't find the t-nut here.... I just use a tamiya diff nut (I think it is 2mm and the thread is all wrong). But as the nut is so small and soft just pre thread it with your diff screw before you put it into the plastic housing. Then just tighten it as normal. Been using this for over 2 month in the spool and no issue.

Ya, it is a good car. But you must change the kits plastic parts or the car is very very loose. (we run in very high grip indoor track). Personally the TC6 is a lot more stable for me especially for high speed layout. BTW: The 411 is sure a good car as the current fastest lap time is done by a serpent team driver with his 411. But he is a much better driver than me anyway. haha. Sorry enough for the 411 back to TC6.

They never bothered to answer me back after 2 Emails...maybe if they got enough queries they decided to go for it.

I would wait to see what AE is going to come up first, they are plenty issues about poor quality on SpecR diffs for other models.

Hey guys,
just in case no one has mentioned it. There were questions as to what other kit springs will fit on the TC6. I found that the TM E4 springs are a direct fit and K Factory makes a really sweet set that are very precise with many compression rates.
Had them left over from my E4 cars and gave them a try. PREFECT fit!!

Just thought I'd share that...
