Damn ... they must be remoulding the gear diff for the new Sakura X1. The first gear diff was marginally off on the pitch of the pulleys. They must be taking this chance to remould the case

There is also the heavy duty version that is used in the Sakura Zero S (steel outdrives). It is still available

Yes they are the REFLEX towers on the car and are a brilliant addition.

Just curious what your guys overall opinion on the TC6 and what would be required to beside some hope up form reflex and ppd billet. products.

what i'm would like to know buy the kit, what is the best thing to do to build it right and do what is necceary to get it done.
my club is 99% xray and I just can't go that route. I really liked my tc5 and time for a new car.

First of all you do not need reflex or PPD parts. They could be something that you could upgrade in the future but they are not performance upgrades in my opinion. The only option you might consider is a gear diff for the rear and maybe for the front. Team guys like Keven H and I run the cars stock other than the gear diffs.

What Rick said 100% right. The car is on competition level right out of the box. Even gear diff is just neccessary if you run the fast stock classes and/or mod. I for myself am very happy with the box diffs. A gear diff wasn't faster for me.
The PPD Dial-a-grip is a good option to reduce your work after every run and to make fast changes on the arm mounts --> if you race often you will not miss this one.
The shock tower mounts from Reflex are in my eyes not neccessary because the car already offers a lot of positions for the roll center link. Therefore are their springs an enrichement to the Asso range of springs by filling the big lbs gaps in between.

Hi Rick, are the Yokomo diffs a direct drop in or do you have to modify parts??

You have to shave few mm inside the outdrives to prevent the CVD from binding other than that it is awesome..

Using Spec-R Yokomo BD5 Gear Diff for TC5/TC6.

It fits, but the CVD and out drive is tight.

Need to sand off CVD ends a little bit to make room for out drive.

FYI.

Better to get a Dremel tool with a cutting stone and enlarge the cups themselves to have the dogs slot in with out binding.

Cheers

Hey guys thanks for the info.

well looks like I will be going with this ride very soon as long as my finacial advisor is okay with the purchase(aka the wife) lol

my next question is is there any info on building the perfect car,

from the time I opean the box to the momment i place her on the track.

I would also like to find a decent ashpalt stock set up too. to use as reference.

the main reason i'm going this route for is I already have TC5 and some part will slid over. thanks for all you help.

I guess i have to go down to my LHS and order one in.
