Bye.
You can buy it from rcmodel.com.hk or from rc-mushroom. I saw it on these web sites.

Will this upgrade work for the original SXX and resolve the cog issues when using LRP X-12 motors ?

Hi there, I am looking for some help. Ran my Yokomo R12 for the first time last weekend and it was not fast.

I currently have the LRP SXX competition version 2 and a vector X12 4.0T motor.

Tried everything but still very slow. I notice on the motor it needs 4.8V and I currently use 1 cell lipo at 3.7V.

The ESC has the Twin Bec producing 6.0V.

What is that I am doing wrong as I am not getting the speed.

Thanks

Why has the 1.5 firmware been taken off LRP's site?

It is easier to update a Tekin than this LRP speedy. At least they keep theirs on their site.

Where can I get the new 1.5 firmware update from and what are the benefits of upgrading?

Thanks

I have no idea. There was a link on the "software update" page on LRP's site but the link to the firmware has been taken down.
This new firmware resolves the cogging some people were experiencing, but it is a bit hard to fix it without the software. Do LRP know what they are doing?

The update is done via a USB

1.5 is ment to be an upgrade to current software same as SP / HW or Tekin there is improvements to keep up with the current market of ESC.

You have it wrong.
Rcmarket and other hobby stores are selling the PC interface. No software comes with the interface and all you get is instructions telling you to go to LRP's site. It doesn't even come with PC drivers.

To my knowledge, the only place to get the firmware updates in via LRP's web site. If the 1.5 firmware is not on there, good luck finding it unless someone that already has it can upload it to a file sharing website (I think the forum doesn't allow this. Not to sure)

Hello!
Some days ago I ran my TC car with LRP SXX TC V2 on it, but after few batteries, when I turn on my ESC again I saw that blue LED is blinking. What it would be?

Sounds like it is set to the new stock rules of no advance timing or boost.

Will someone from LRP tell us what's going on with the 1.5 firmware and why it isn't up on the web site? I have never seen such bad customer service before.

it's probably because the update caused more harm than good. I'd rather not have the firmware available and keep my ESC running normally than a fried ESC. I actually was able to download it, but until there is word from LRP, then it stays in my flash drive.

So I have a question regarding the capacitor on the TC Spec Ver 2.0... I didn't have mine mounted properly and the vibration from my B44 caused the wires to the cap to rub on the heatsink wearing a hole in both the positive and negative feeds. After driving it yesterday it started to shutdown on wide open throttle. I pointed out the wires to the local fast guy and he told me to just cut off the cap, saying that he runs his like that occasionally. So when I got home I cut the cap off and tried running it that way. It did the same thing. Shutdown on wide open throttle..... When it shutsdown I can switch the ESC off and then on and works... Until WOT...

Obviously the Cap is necessary? Or could it be something else? Unfortunately none of the shops in my area carry this CAP... Anyone know where I could find one? Could I just leave it off and buy one of the caps that plug into your receiver?
