Default Ferrari F50

From everything I've read so far, a Ferrari F50 GT1 body would be legal correct?I figured it would if you allow a McLaren F1 GTR-that was a GT1 class car as well.

A California company use to make one about 10 or 12 years ago, but you can find a reproduction on Ebay.

Just curious, thanks.

That looks good, go for it. The pan car style bodies with the integrated rear wings are what we are trying to keep out.

Default Another F50 pic

Here's another pic of a Ferrari F50 GT1-this is actually a pic of a 1/18 diecast, but you get the idea.

I also have a few questions for you guys running USGT: has any one of you guys ever try a Tamiya Porsche 911 GT3 or Tamiya Ferrari 430 or 458 Italia?

Also, I see many people run low profile steering servos. Does anyone have the Futaba low profile servo's model number?

Thanks, Ed D.

There are several, but the standard Futaba digital low-profile servo is the S9551. The brushless version is the BLS551.

I would think so. It's in the same realm as the pagani or mclaren. And it's bad a$$.

Yes it is...its been raced at the US Scale Nats the last two years now so if its legal there it should be legal everywhere IMO.

I am assuming that is the paint scheme in the picture he posted not the body he was talking about. Once again I am ASSUMING. The picture below should not be a legal USGT body.

I thought he was asking if the TC body was legal.

I was asking about the body....

The picture is of the paint scheme... I prefer "realistic Bristol" schemes... Now it is time to figure out how to paint Montoya's Jet Dryer scheme....

I was also looking at the Chevy Camaro ZL1 Clear Body for USGT....

You are correct, it is LTC.... Thus not legal...
