I did, just saw the restriction for VTA of 5000mah, but didnt see anything for USGT.

Motor Specifications:
ROAR approved 21.5 + 2s lipo batteries No tuning rotors, must use OEM rotor

Approved ESCs:
ESC ROAR approved spec software or USVTA list

Race Specification:
6 minute qualifiers
8 minute mains

Battery Specifications:
ROAR approved hard case batteries

I have thought the same thing. They need only change one character in the rules to make it happen. Change FWD to 2WD.

Natrix 748 ep 200mm tc. Be sweet, but a bit too heavy, especially the drivetrain, for a weak 21.5 to get around the track fast.

Drivetrain doesn't look heavier than any other design, to me at least. 200mm would probably not be very good with the spec rubber tires though.

I got the Caddy in the mail yesterday and damn it looks good....would love to see a GM Vs. Ford battle via PF....one can only hope.

Ran the Protoform Cadillac body yesterday at The Gate. The car was very well balanced with a little more steering. I really liked the body! The Ford GT would make a great addition to the USGT class.

So the Cadi has more steering than ??? What body were you using before? Otherwise you are comparing apples to nothing.

Things I learned this weekend in racing...

24 Hours of LeMans coverage was too hard to find. Thanks Fox Network for putting most of the coverage on a channel I don't have (FoxSports2). At least they had a online option, but I didn't check to see if it was free.

Ford is going to have 4 factory sponsored cars in next year's race. I was going to post pics of the new 2016 Ford GT GTE, but I will instead post the link on Ford's website where you can find additional photos.

We've already approached Ford and applied for the licensing rights to the new Ford GT. No word as of yet. We're hoping as well - big time.

Those rear quarter panels will be an all new challenge. Can't wait!
