Does the Sakura diff fit Xray T3?
#470
I couldnt wait to try mine and put some 55wt corally shock oil in it , it made the rear really loose on power
Is this due to the oil or is this one of the traits of the gear diff ???

Mine should arrive today or monday, will try it back to back with the spec r next weekend. Have been very happy with the performance of the spec r but after only a few meets there is a lot of slop between the outdrive pins and the gears. Hopefully the 3r is just as good on the track but lasts longer

Hi Spec-R and anyone else that can answer this question
Well I managed to borrow a Spec-R diff from a buddy yesterday that has a Tamiya 416, to find out if it would fit my HB TC, it dropped striaght in, but the down side is, HB use a 39 tooth pulley, is there a 39 tooth pulley Spec-R make, as I could use Tamiya drive shafts in the rear to accomadate for the slots in the outdrives, but why o why cant Spec-R not make one for the HB cars, it surley cant be that difficult to make the outdrives accomodate the drive-shafts for the HB cars along with a 39 tooth pulley. In fact if you could supply a 39 tooth pulley, I could get the outdrives machined to accomodate the HB Litemodz CVS's
Spec-R please reply to this question.
Cheers Malc

hope things are going good for you after your news. But all this hassle with TCs .Go out and buy a 1/12th car.
You get more track time 8 mins instead of 5 and save your self a bundle of dosh.
