Thumbs up

One for the cyclone would be cool. Or 2 even, you could thinker oil in the front so is stiffer than a ball diff, but has the give that a spool doesn`t!!!!!

not sure why they would make a product for a car whose replacement has been announced, won't be compatible and is due soon......

sorry buddy

416 one will fit the TCX if you play about with front pulley and belts (from 416)
also if you have a huge amount of shims (3mm) then you could space it out for the std cyclone, and then change to the 416 belts and front spool (again another 3mm of diff shims needed)

bare in mind if you do it that way for the STD cyclone yourll need the pro 4 driveshafts (same length as the new tcx ones)

hope that helps

i have been running the gear diff on my xray t3 for the last 4 weeks and it has been flawless. i was at a two day race were i ran the car in two classes and never had a problem all weekend. the only issue i have is that there is still oil coming out of the diff, so to every one don't over fill the diff like i did. i have fixed the problem and no more issues.

Buy nitro diff oil. That shock oil you used is very thin. We are pretty much all running 500-2,000wt.

My Spec-r diff turned up today (thanks kschu) i'm fitting it into the rear of my T2 009 which has been converted to the 38t pulleys. I've read through a few posts and people recommend changing the shims for bigger ones can you give me make and part numbers and possibly a UK supplier for these shims.

I run on a small indoor tight carpet track with medium grip which gets better after a few heats. I run 13.5 or 10.5, what would be a good starting point for the diff oil? preferably in cst as wt can vary so much.

At the recent MSRA Beat the Heat race in Memphis I ran 100 wt Losi oil in mine and another front runner ran 1000wt Mugen diff oil. This was on 150 ft straight with unlimited esc 17.5's. I ran the diff with the stock innards, but it leaks after a few runs. I gotta get that fixed. I smeared 6636 AE diff grease on the seals and around the outdrives, but it still leaked after the first day of racing. I heard I should try green slime, but I haven't been able to try it yet. It leaks around the outdrives, but not through the pulley/gasket.

Just run the stock shims. I tried adding 0.1mm shims to mine and it bound up the gears.

yes! u must check the shim around 10pack battery carefully,
because the size and the thickness not enough, so the shim will become deform...

i prefer start with kyosho #1000-3000 gear diff oil.
