As far as I know there is no reliable way to re-tweak it. Your best bet is to find one on Ebay or check on the sale forum and see if anybody has a spare or a good used one. Good Luck.

some small improvements would be great! Only a few things, I would like to see better droop screws, extra front shock tower hole for the camber link mod, the newer shocks and lvd. I would take anything they could do, but that would greatly please me. I would buy another one for outdoors.

Has Anyone had any motor problems with the XXX-S Stock Motor...well mine works, but after a minute it stalls, so im looking for a replacement for it, im going to start racing in a 19 turn class, so any idea's?

cutting out material on the bottom of the chassis where the belt rubs? I think you could cover the hole with tape or something. mayby you could get a mm or two of extra space to keep it from rubbing. Just wondering if it's been done.

New to this thread but i have a pretty simple queston. I bought a XXXS RTRII what are some of the first hop-up parts some of you guys did to your XXXS? Any little tricks or secrets that would be helpful to know about? Thanks for your help.

probably the best thing to get is the Graphite chassis and graphite parts. It will make the car lighter. But if your a beginner then stay with plastic until you become a better driver so u wont break as much parts. Theres other parts too but not quite sure what ti-nitride parts come with the RTRII.

Only things I would get would be full graphite kit, black belt kit, a kevlar spur, AE aluminum wheel hexes, ti hinge pins and some Ti screws. That will lighten up the car a lot. When the new JRXs comes out I would get the new smaller shocks.

If you have trouble setting the droop on your suspension, do it by shortening or lengthening your shocks. It seems that the droops screws that are located in the bumpers are prone to inconsistant adjustments because of bumper flex. The bumper's flex enough to move the droop screws up and down from where they are mounted.
The Black belt kit is one of the best hop ups I have. Graphite chassis and suspension, Titanium turnbuckle rods are a plus for less weight and ease of adjustment. I'm not sure how compatible the new shocks with the JRX-S will be with the XXX-S since those shocks are different sizes. The other option would be Losi's ti nitride threaded shocks and shock shafts. I've seen some people use Tamiya's threaded shocks from the TRF 415.
Trinity Matt Francis low roll center blocks (f/r) are also a big improvement. They have an actual true low roll center setting. I have heard that Losi's stock low roll center setting is more of a mid roll center setting. Depending on your driving/racing track, a one way front diff would be the only other thing that comes to mind. If your RTR II comes with full bearings you are ok. If there are bronze bushings in the center of the diff, hubs, steering, etc, replace them with bearings. Using bearings is probably the single best hop up there is. If you can afford it, Ceramic bearings are the best to go with, but they are spendy for a full set.

ya the droop screws suck on the XXX-S and that's one thing I wish the would have fixed. I hate putting spacers in the shocks, takes too much time when setting droop is so much easier.

Leave the car alone, its fine. Work on your driving. Biggest mistake I made with this car is focusing on buying things for my car instead of focusing on track time driving it.

like anything it can always be improved. Not much to improve, but a very few small things could be done. I can't wait to try the new shocks out. They look to be a good design.

Yes, I agree, work on driving until you can get around the track without hitting things. Then start thinking about upgrades. I'm assuming your new to the hobby.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I am not exactly new to Rc cars i have been racing for 2 years, i have a mini t, nitro stampede, and a rustler, But this is my first 4wd road car. So far i love. Thanks again for all your help
