i'm not a super star racer by a long shot =] but i did switch from a tc3 to a losi xxx-s G+. i even had both of them for a little while. i decided on the losi a lot because it feels smoother to me. a lot easier for me to work on too. diff adjustments just don't get easier than on a losi

Just alittle tip, if you use the losi lexan brace and the MF front bumper together it makes an indestructible front end. I haven't broken a part in the 5 race days I used it, while the one day I didn't use it, I broke four front parts.

You should contact EddieO and see what motor he'd recommend for your track conditions. The Br00d site should be up really soon, Shane from this site is doing the work, but he just moved out here to San Diego and is doing a lot of other stuff at the moment.

If you're switching from one car to another because of breakage, you'll probably be disapointed. Cars break if you hit things. They just do. I made the switch from a TC3 to the Losi over a year ago. The reason I made the switch is I found the Losi to drive smoother. It's also easier to setup and the torque steer the TC3 had just didn't fit my driving style. Some poeple don't notice it, some can tune it out, some can adjust their driving. I didn't like it and the minute I put the Losi on the track, I was faster.

Default Carpet set up explination similar to the outdoor explination

10 pages or so ago someone posted how to set up the XXX-S for outdoors and it was lengthly and full of great information. I plan on using Bobby Flack set up to start with the indoor carpet season.

Is there a real good carpet explination similar to what was posted for the outdoor. If someone could post it I'd love to have the information.

Thanks in advance.

Definately ask EddieO / Team Brood. I received a Chameleon 2 and a Reedy Quad Mag from him a couple weeks ago and have been VERY impressed with both. The QM simply screams as does the C2 (although gearing was a bit more difficult for me to find). In addition, the motors both come with an extra set of brushes but more importantly, his customer service is TOP NOTCH!!! He'll definately steer you in the right direction.

We've also got some very nice 19t motors in stock. We offer epic, reedy and atlas based motors. I've been super happy with it.

What is 'losi lexan brace' how would I buy/find?
the MF front bumper, I assume MF is Matt Francis Is this a Losi Part is it a XXX-S part or a part for another car that works for a XXX-S?

The lexan bumper piece is a losi part, you can get it from your local hobby shop for about 5 bucks or make on out of left over lexan, the Matt Francis bumper I believe is a trinity part. Go to teamtrinity and look up francis parts.

Here's my car.

And the body....

I'm trying to find a place that does anodizing. All the ones I've found only take bulk orders of one or two products. Anyone know of a place that does rc anodizing for a decent price?
