Thanks
Wait 'till you see it anodized green.....
The MVP isn't that bad once you do all the tricks to it. Align the hoods, shave the brushes, shim it, and gear it to hell. Either gear it by laptimes or figure out where the motor peaks out on the straight. It should be anywhere from 1/3 to 1/2 the way through. I think i'm around 5.90 FDR now on a very tight track. It's the only way to keep up with the monster stocks.
It does get very hot though(whenever a turn marshal picked up my car they would burn their hand) so I'm switching back to the monster stocks just because I'm starting to feel bad for the marshals....
Also, the endbell spring post threads and endbell screw threads get very loose very fast, so it's a bit of a hassle to align the hoods properly.

Just a tip for you guys that can use it. When I first started running the XXXS about a year ago, I just drilled 2 holes on the stock upper bumper brace where they can attach to the holes in the front bulkhead. It'll propably look better than the lexan brace IMO and you still can mount a swaybar. I dont run any upper bumper brace anymore, and dont have any problems with fragile front parts.

I have been running the car since it came out...I haven't broken any shock shafts. If you clip something really hard- another car, a corner, etc, something WILL break.

One of our sportsman drivers who has been racing his G+ for about 7 months now has broken 4 front shovk shafts. We cannot really figure out why he has broken so many but he has done it. I personally have not broken a shaft but I seem to be able to break a front bumper every other race weekend! LOL BTW....I have like 5 rear bumpers if anyone needs one .LMAO

are you breaking them right at the end of the threads? I broke a couple of them, but got through that batch and all is well... might try to contact losi and see if they have any ideas....

I think my buddy's problem is not on the shafts its in how or what he hits. He broke the first shaft back in March..then 1 in May..then 2 in June..and 1 in July then finally 1 more 2 weeks ago. And yes he has been breaking them right at the threads.
