impactplayr, I wish I had a track to race on a weekly basis that had enough traction to reverse the hubs. We're hoping to find an asphalt surface for the spring.

Build the diff as regular except don't use the diff balls, diff lube, and place the pads so that the sandpaper side in facing inwards...... tighten her up and go racing...

if you can get 5 extra concave washers placve them in instead of the thrust bearing assembly....

It's not that complicated.....

Default Shock travel limiters vs. Droop screws

Can anyone enlighten me about using internal shock travel limiters as opposed to standard droop screws to limit the droop on my XXX-S? What do they use as the limiters? Thanks.

Bill, I have not needed to use any limiters inside my shocks to help with adjusting droop. Just tighten or untighten the shock ends until you get the droop you need. I'm running 2mm in the front and 4mm in the back...

As for what I thought of my new belt with every other tooth missing...BOO HISSSS!!! I felt I lost a lot of the punch I like, so I bought another.

I tried the belt again today. Worked great in my opinion. I qualified second and the car had a lot more snap off the corner than it used to. The only car to out qualify me was a Yok SD by 5 seconds. I could have easily made up the 5 seconds with some better driving from traffic during qualifying.

your car was killer today. The main sucked for you but you had the best chance of any one to beat Alex.

I swear to god I could not see at the end of the track with the sun blaring through the doors. Next time I'll have everyone stand in front of the doors so I can see where the corner is. Carpet champs are going to be fun this weekend. I'm going to build another set ot two of shocks for this weekend. Thinking of building a set of maybe 55wt/56 pistons and maybe even a set of 50wt/56 pistons so I can have some shocks to swap out to tune the entry and exit of the turn for this weekends race.

I hit the same corner in my main....LOL I had a glitching problem from hell today. Hopefully I'll get it worked out for next week. I can't wait to get my new car. Good luck next weekend. I might run mod and 19turn if I have the time between racing and calling some of the heats.
