do you have the MF rear alum roll center? is it lower then the losi low roll center?
as mentioned by kevin k, the speedtech ones are a bit higher than the losi ones.

When the GP+ came out, everyone was calling the losi parts a "mid roll center" aka "Losi Low"
I know for sure that my parts, which i ground down myself from high roll center parts, are lower than the losi Low, and always assumed they were the same as Trinity. I've never held them side to side, but they appear the same when mounted on the car.

You are 100% correct that the parts from Speedtech and the MF parts are the same, they are both shaved .150" from the original blocks... The speedtech parts also included the .150" shim to take them back to the original height as well.
Regarding Cleveland - I am going to have to agree with Kevin K - We had to resort to drinking heavily throughout the weekend... then again - I guess it wasn't so bad.

The Speed Tech rear roll center mounts that I had were a little taller then the the stock losi low roll center....this is with out that extra spacer....it wasnt much but they were taller. This could have been my set who knows but when I measured them this is what I found.
J fillipow....yes I am using the 2R block in the front.
Todd....No indoor champs this year b/c the last two times I went I did not enjoy the race or myself and sence I have to pay for all this out of my pocket I deceided to go to the Birds instead.

For a stock XXX-S with a stock motor, what pinion gear should I be running (tooth/pitch)?

Thanks! I will give that a try and let you know how it works out.

hey guys...i just bought my second monster....i had a bad experience with the first one but that was my mistake not knowing how to gear it...now i bought another one 'cause i've seen a lot of racers using it and it's quite fast...anyways...i slap it in my xxx-s and geared it 20 pinion and 90 spur..thats around 8.23 final ratio..and i still can't get the car to run as i want it....track is concrete 25% open 75% tight track....it's a big track....i can't tell how big but its big....anyways.....whats the best final drive for this motor or at least ballpark to start with....i don't wanna burn another motor again...thx a bunch

if i gear it that low..i'll burn the motor...i didn't finish any heat because i didnt wnt the motor to smoke...still can't figure out whats wrong...i felt the drivetrain and its free as it can be...i changed motors for the main and it ran fine....although somebody clipped me and my car did a cartwheel and broke my shock shaft...maybe i'll try gearing it higher..thnx
