would using a 1.15" long spring instead of the 1" long spring in front affect handling in any way?

Also, did you guys ever ask matt why he prefered the diffs to the one way? sorry, im just really curious about how the pro's setup thier car and why they choose a certain setup, like the diffs over the oneway... thanks...

I think a large part of why Matt dosen't run oneways is he's an off road guy mainly. They don't use oneways in off road so he's not used to running with one.

Default IRS Spool?

I got the IRS Spool the other day.
I tried to install it today but I could
not get it to spin freely. I notice that
it has a larger flange on one side then
the other. This to cover the screws
against the bearing on the outdrive.
this makes The bearings fit really tight
& the pulley off center that rubs against the
gear cover. I dremeled the gear boxes & made
sure that I tighted the screws on the spool all
the way. but it just won't spin as freely as the
stock outdrives. It would work a lot better if
the spool would fit entirely where the the diff
rings lay. IRS makes good products maybe I
got one that has a machine flaw. any sugestions?
other then to send it back. thanks.

Man the 3 people I know who have them, including me had no problems. It took like 10 minutes to put it together and put in my car. Not rubbing in my G+ what so ever. It spins super free. Not sure what is wrong as that just don't sound like any IRS product I have heard of that don't fit.

Best thing is to call Dave at IRS and see what he says. Or let another drivier fit it into his car and see if it rubs on his car as well. If it don't rub in another car then you know something is wrong in your car.

WYD- did you run at RCO last Saturday??

I finally made it back up..... unfortunately I had a problem with stuffing m car into the walls repeatedly during the heats.... It was running awesome and made up for t in the mains....but I only qualified for the C.....LOL But everyone from 3rd Q in the A to 4-5 in the C was within a lap of each other.... SO I guess it wasn't that bad!!!

Last Saturday I TQ'ed and one the main. Had 35 stock cars last weekend and was a fun time. My car was really hooked up and fast.

Today it was fast as well but I was in the worst heat I have been in for years. It was like I was running against 7 TL01 cars and my stock car. They would just pound you from all angles. I qualified 3rd and we didn't run the last round as the computer took a dump. I could have TQ'ed but just had a brutal heat. Couldn't complain about the car as it was great.

That's awesome!!! I thought x-rays where soo fast and the fastest X-ray got his azzz handed to him by a LOSI!!!!!

I was suprised I had my set-up for Frederick on the car and it was pretty good up there, all I needed was a little more steering...... How often do they change the layout?? A buddy ad I may be coming up this weekend, will the layout change?? Also will they have the puter problems fixed?? We're hoping to run some 1/12th when we come up..... Also what for roll-out do you use?? I am running a Monster...... Thanks!!!!

You should have seen the stock class I watched tonight they looked way worse han any TL01 class I have ever seen run!!!!! LOL

Computer should be ready by next week. I think they are getting a new one. I would roll out from 26.5 to no more than 28mm with the Monster motor. The layout is normally up for a month and then they will change it. Been up for 2 weeks now.

The Losi cars were quailified 1st and 3rd. Kash had clean heats and I didn't. Mike Jr was 2nd but he also got to run in that good heat. In the 2nd round I was on a TQ pace but was quickly disposed of by a few sledgehammers and I took my car off to save it for the reshuffled round but with the computer down it was a no go.

The Losi is very fast and I'm pretty pleased with it overall. One of the fastest cars I have ever run. I would like to try the new Yoke or EVO3 sometime but if my Losi keeps running like it does it will be very hard to try something else.

Hi guys, what are the lenght of the shocks you use on your xxxs? Is it .28" front and .36" rear? Can I use .28" all round?

Anyone with a great asphalt setup? Thanks!!

Yes it is .28/front, .36/rear but ive never heeard of anyone running .28's all around. I just got a front swaybar set today. Which bar should I use on a pretty tight asphalt track/medium bite. Any good setups for this.

So far I've only run the .04" (second from smallest) and it kept the front end nice and flat on the Tamiya surface at the Reedy race. I'm thinking the thicker ones may be too stiff.

the shorter spring will feel more progressive than the longer one of the same color.
