I have placed an order but I wouldn't expect them to be until late next week. I am waiting to here from them, Ben is probably racing tonight. Ben is a great guy to deal with so if you have to have them now drop him a line.

Someone asked about the belt, it is part number 3209.

The bumper is #4237.

The rear tower is #9845.

4237 is for the old bumper set? are you going to have any specials for the old bumper set as I don't want the latest one that came out.

Thanks!

4236 is for the old bumper set. 4237 is for the new bumper set.

Sorry I don't have any of the older style in stock and neither does Horizon. They have been out of stock for awhile now, (edited) Todd says both will be available.

I have marked down everything else that I have that pertains to the older style of parts. I think I do have 1 of the 1/2 degree hubs left but I put that out of stock on the website but if it is ordered I will go ahead and fill it.

Kraig-Just to let you know we will still be selling both bumper sets. There are no plans of discontinuing them.

Thanks Todd, I will correct my post then. Both bumper sets will be available. How about the older style of rear hubs, will those still be available?

Default Upper and Lower pivot block holes

If I move the arm/hinge pins into the lower set of holes on the stock pivot blocks is that considered changing to low roll center or does it change something else? I believe the upper holes are the stock setting which is how my car is now. How will changing to the lower holes effect the cars handling?

What's a good pinion to start with on my XXX-S with an Orion Core Stock? I'm running a 64 pitch 118T spur.

The newer rear hubs are an option part and posses a new part number. The original hubs are going to continue to be sold.

I broke a castor block yesterday, is it worth upgrading to an aluminum unit from say Dynamite, or stick with the stock or graphite parts? We race on carpet, with hard boards. Thanks.

KBhobbies...

What are the part numbers for the new low roll center blocks and Bumper? Also, did losi also revise the outdrive hubs, and cvds?

Action-RC ...depends ...if you take a hard enough hit the aluminum is going to bend, "problem" will be that you won't necesarliy know the part is bent so your car acts all tweakie and wierd and you can't figure out why. On the other hand, if the part doesn't break you can at least finish the heat you're in. The other problem is that if you take a hard enough hit to have brokin your castor block and now you run aluminum the force is gonna transfer somewhere else, so you end up breaking another part, maybe an arm or hub. ...IMO the aluminum stuff looks nice but I don't think it's worth it, I would look at other options like maybe a buds bumper up front or something else.

I fully agree. The aluminum looks sweet but I have seen so many bent rear hubs and steering spindles that it just is not worth the extra money for the aluminum stuff. Plus a guy recently broke a Matt Francis low roll center mount in the front, inner hinge pin and also the front pivot bar when the outer parts did not give. The Buds bumper would be a great addition as well as run all graphite parts in the front end.

Default Rubber tire suggestions for carpet??

I am looking for tire/insert suggestions for carpet. I realize that different carpets have different bite characteristics and that is why I decided to ask here. The tracks we are thinking about going to have two different colors of carpet. Most of the carpet is the light grey color but there are two that have the dark grey colored carpet. I would greatly appreciate any comments from our fellow Losi drivers as to what tire/insert combo they have had the best luck with. The tracks are real small and tight. Matter of fact, all they run is stock. Thanks for the help guys!!

Thanks guys. I will have the LHS order in a Buds bumper for it, and I will stick with the stock parts.
