Dave, thanks for the input. I will deffinetly try the lighter oil as you and Shrek suggested this weekend and maybe move the shocks and shorten the wheelbase. I havent tried a one way yet because I run on a pretty tight track and have heard they arent the greatest for them, is that right?

Doug - horizon appears to have them in stock on their website so your hobbyshop should be able to get them.
Blakesrc - one-ways aren't necessarily bad for tight tracks. I think they help in most all rubber tire applications. Just gotta have the right setup.

I don't think any company imports them to the states but you can get them from Apex Models by mail order, they ship all over the world but i don't know how much the postage would be (I shouldn't think it would be too expensive)

Setting Chassis Tweak
I forgot to ask yesterday about chassis tweak. I made marks at the front and rear center of the car so I could set the tweak. I use an xacto blade to balance the car. It seems that when I set the shock preload so the tires lift at the same time there is a noticable difference that the arms/driveshafts are not level. Is that ok?

First make sure you are doing the tweak adjustment correctly. The left and right sides should come out very close to each other, not neccesarily with driveshafts level.
Carefully set droop first. Set the preload collars the same distance from the top of the shock on both front shocks and then with possibly a different setting both back shocks the same. Do this while you set the ride height correctly. Now to set tweak without a tweak station lift the car on one end only exactly in the center. Adjust the preload collars on the OPPOSITE end until the tires on the end you are lifting just lift off the ground at the same time.
Then do the other end the same way. Recheck your ride height.

Hi Guys
Well I am finally going to get my XXXS out to the track tomorrow. I had some issues with wheels fitting that took me a couple of weeks to correct.
Anyways I have a couple of final questions.
1. I mounted the losi Alpha body on the car and it was very very tight against the front foam bumper and still didn't line up with the wheel wells properly. Is there a different foam bumper that should be used? I have a grey one.
2. I couldn't get the front ride height below 6.5mm. is this because I should be using the .28 shocks with .28 shock shafts? I currently have .36 shocks all around.
Thank you in advance for any help
Cheers!

You should be able to go below 6.5 mm. Check to see what prevents this. If its the spring collar won't go high enough trim the top lip off of it to get some more clearance. If it's the shock, usually what prevents this is the shocks ends are not screwed completely onto the shock shafts. This makes the shock too long and it bottoms. Take the shock apart and screw the shock end tight untill it bottoms on the shaft. Be careful not to strip it. If you like ride heights below 6mm it's helpful to get the short front shocks. At 6mm the stock shocks work fine.
I had no trouble mounting the Losi Alfa Body using the grey bumper. Perhaps you have the body mounted too far back. In any case once you drill the body post holes you can't move the body around. It is easy to shape the foam bumper, though, if you need more clearance. Use a Zip bit in a dremel tool or a serrated knife. It's OK for the body to rest against the foam.
