I've got a question for this combo. After performing the radio calibration and turning it off then back on again, the red led is blinking and the yellow is solid on. The esc responds to forward trigger and brake. Here is my question, the yellow led turns off during forward trigger and the red led flashes constantly no matter where the throttle is, how do I know I am getting top speed? The yellow LED does not come back on like it says it would in the manual when at full throttle. The yellow is solid on when in neutral or anywhere on the brake side. I'm running with 3PK spektrum module, rev throttle. I've performed radio calibration with 50/50 and 70/30 throttle/brake with the same results. Any help would be apreciated. If I can get it sorted out, I'll be at TQ this weekend for the opener Championship race. Thanks

Ok, I'm using the tqcells.com booster for my 1 cell pack and as I understand it, any brushless esc will work with a 1 cell pack if you also add either a booster like Novaks' or TQ Cells, or you can use a reciever pack instead. Was told this by the local track owner who has raced 1 cell lipo with 17.5 brushless in 1/10 pan car oval for the last couple of years now.
So to M-Technic, even though the esc specs may say 2 cell, it does'nt mean it won't work with 1 cell; you just need to add either the booster or reciever pack.
Of course this still leaves the question for Shawn at Speed Passion as to why the Cirtix esc apparently does'nt work with a booster.

Okay here is the problem with the ESC. I spoke with Shawn at Speed Passion today and he told me to try it with a 2s battery pack and see if the ESC is gets enough power that way. Of course with the 2s battery one try and it works without a problem. Now I need to use this ESC in a 12 scale so I can’t use 2s battery. With the 1s pack I also have a Novak Booster and it doesn’t work. Anyone got ideas what to do.
Tiko, Ron Rossetti is running the Speed Passion combo with lipo and he used my 1s lipo booster and had no problem with it. You can get them at tqcells.com they are located in Canada and take a while to get. IF you are still having problems with it look me up on sunday i will be running my 1/12 scale in the spec stock class.
