maybe it works well, otherwise it wouldnt have been used by half of the "A" Main finalists on the grid... the other half were using Integra bodies..

well... it is err unusual for a 4WD body on an FF platform...

but since a 4WD Impreza and Evo were converted into FR drift cars in real life,

why not FF?

might happen...

Hi guys, hallo to everybody! I'm focus my interest on FF03 again after a period of TT01 stock class racing. Does anybody know wich kind of motor were used at Tamiya World's for the FF03?
Thanks a lot.

Just got my ff03 today and I'm installing my motor n electronics. Having a little trouble figuring out how to best rotate the motor to fit it in there and still have decent access to the solder tabs. I'm running a tekin rs and redline motor. Can anyone share some advice or better yet some pics of the motor and wiring? Thanks

There are several ways of doing this.

* Rotate the tabs back towards the diff outdrive so the tabs avoid the gearbox stiffener. Using the carbon fibre option part helps even more as it is thinner than the plastic stiffener.

Another way is to use the Tamiya motor endbell spacer (# 54129) which moves the motor out a bit to clear the stiffener

I run the same combo in mine. I mounted the motor so the solder tabs are at about 45° up and to the rear, and flattened the forward-most solder tab with a pliers. Fits great now.

I do. But it's not been documented yet.

I'll get on it shortly.

Jimmy, your FF03 looked good on the rug.
What tires were you running ?
