I started building my kit last night and noticed that Tamiya is being conservative on this offering...

No extra gears? Wow... that's a first on an Evolution!

No choice of suspension blocks? I think "E" is way too much toe in... not sure why this is the one that was included in the kit... hmmm (a lot of us won't be running mod, right?)

It looks to be a good car nonetheless, BUT having built many top of the line Tamiya kits... I think this is a bit conservative to date. I don't mind paying another 20~30 dollars more for those important extra tuning options and spares...

i've just ordered the light weight prop shafts an some spares from Rainbowten, I'm still curious as to why the plastic prop joint broke, if anyone else has eaxperienced it, under what conditions did it happen?

I've seen this happen to various TC3s. It usually happens during an on-power crash. Something has to give and the shaft cups are usually the weakest point (now that the gears are stronger).

yeah fair enough, thats wat I thought, though i wasn't on power, i clipped a corner and rolled into a wall, i expected an arm to break, not the cup lol
