Good to see the price of the Evo IV is now 20% lower than first listed on R10 , sadly due to me cutting back on my racing im sticking with the 415 so my kit will be going straight up for sale on ebay or private for those of you in the UK that are after one.

415/EVO IV

Which of the two cars has more parts which are common to the EVO III?

Cheers, Mark.

Good question. 415 have about the same suspension as EVO III.
The EVO IV just looks similar to the EVO III but is using completely different parts.

Whichever car you feel most comfortable with in terms of knowing how each setting change will effect the car. Usually, it takes a while for me to get used to a chassis and figure out how changing certain things feel on track and go from there. Unfortunately, I don't have an Evo4 so I should be using the 415 for a few upcoming races.

Hey V12, I see you've got yourself a 415 :sneaky: How is it?

I'll be waiting until the Nitro season is over to get a new car, but as I have so many EVO III parts, then this would influence my decision as to which car to get: 415 or EVO IV.
Maybe also I'm going in the direction of 415, as it should have a better supply of parts in comparison to the limited edition EVO IV?? It is very difficult for me to find certain parts for the EVO III SE these days.

My 415 just is on the way. Should come in tomorrow.
As these 415 are so fast now I decided trying one as itīs some time ago since the last beltdrive car.

But I will keep my EVO III for sure as I have so much parts here now and at least itīs good enough for a rain car. Also itīs still very fast.

But going for the 415 also means I wonīt go for the EVO IV as I donīt like some things with this car.

Just got in the new suspension kit and Iīm also not sure about this. Maybe Iīm selling again because of some reasons.

If you have troubles finding some of the Tamiya parts please send me a PM. Maybe I can help you.

I don't know much about the EVO IV - what is it that you don't like about the car?

What is the new suspension kit?

I also like the EVO III still, but I have not been able to cure my one-way problems and the parts supply was bad.

Thanks for the offer V12 - I was thinking about an Xray, but I was (except for the one-way and supply problems) really happy with the EVO III and the 415 seems really nice.

Are you going to fit ti screws to the 415?

Reason I'm asking is I couldn't find any hobby shops or tracks when I was working over there.
